Flexibility as a Core Principle

We supply goods and services to both large and small enterprises, wholesalers, municipalities, and event organizers. While the majority of our client base is located in Denmark, we also provide products to international markets including,
but not limited to, Norway and Singapore. Within our organization, we value a responsible and transparent approach to work. Maintaining clear internal and external communication is considered essential to ensuring alignment with
our objectives. We also take responsibility towards our clients, including respecting their wishes for confidentiality concerning their products.

We regularly participate in trade fairs across Europe and Asia to obtain insight and inspiration for future developments. To promote the adoption of sustainable food packaging, it is essential to remain adaptable and offer tailored
solutions through custom-designed products. We are prepared to collaborate on concept development and product design based on client ideas, preferences, or innovations. Clients determine the material composition of their products,
and we endeavor to provide sustainable alternatives whenever feasible. Environmental responsibility and product quality are jointly prioritized.

Since its founding, Plant2Plast has been committed to the advancement of environmentally friendly food packaging. This focus aligns with our organizational philosophy, which emphasizes sustainability and quality. We continuously expand
our assortment of environmentally responsible packaging to ensure that customers are empowered to make sustainable choices. In 2017, Plant2Plast obtained FSC® C132484 certification. Customers are encouraged to inquire about our FSC®-certified
products. In support of environmental stewardship, we have entered into a corporate sponsorship arrangement with WWF Denmark.

Although we strive to offer sustainable alternatives, we acknowledge that our product selection does not exclusively comprise biodegradable or environmentally friendly materials. For clients seeking cost-effective plastic alternatives,
we also offer products manufactured from mineral oil-based plastics, including items for which plastic remains the only viable production material.

Nonetheless, we will continue to provide consultation and expand our range of sustainable products as part of our commitment to delivering optimal client solutions.

Providing high-quality products typically entails higher production costs. While we remain committed to quality, we actively pursue innovative production techniques and alternative materials for our standard product range in order
to maintain competitive pricing in the marketplace.

To support continuous improvement, we have established annual goals focused on promoting the use of sustainable food packaging through the following key initiatives:

  • Expand our environmentally friendly product portfolio by a minimum of 10%.
  • Develop new in-house designs utilizing sustainable materials.
  • Continue offering sustainable product solutions to new and existing clients.
  • Reduce our carbon footprint by streamlining our delivery and logistics operations through packaging optimization and other process enhancements.

Commitment to Social Responsibility

While environmental considerations remain a central focus, we also place significant emphasis on fulfilling our social responsibilities towards employees. We support the UN Global Compact initiative, which encourages private enterprises
to address social and environmental challenges resulting from globalization. Our commitment is demonstrated through the integration of its core principles—human rights, labor rights, environmental protection, and anti-corruption—into
our day-to-day operations.

Our vision to advance eco-friendly food packaging shall not come at the expense of human well-being. To ensure compliance with internal, customer, and international standards, we conduct regular inspections of our suppliers in countries
including Poland, China, and the United Kingdom. We also maintain documentation affirming that our partners in Europe and Asia do not engage in illegal or unethical labor practices that conflict with our values or those outlined
by the EU and the UN.

Product and Food Safety

In all aspects of business operations, particularly regarding food and food packaging, safety remains a top priority. We rigorously ensure that safety-related documentation is in place and that supplier practices meet EU regulatory
requirements. Upon request, customers may receive evidence confirming that our products—as well as those from our suppliers—comply with relevant directives and regulations from the European Commission concerning materials intended
for food contact.

Examples of applicable legislation include:

  • Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 of the European Parliament and Council dated 27 October 2004
  • Danish Executive Order No. 822 of 26 June 2013 on food contact materials
  • Commission Regulation (EC) No. 2023/2006 of 22 December 2006 on good manufacturing practice
  • Danish Executive Order No. 1077 of 19 September 2014 on food business registration and authorization

Additional documentation, such as food safety data sheets and declarations of conformity, can be accessed via our website.

Choosing Plant2Plast means engaging with a company that operates responsibly both ethically and environmentally.

We look forward to establishing a productive and mutually beneficial partnership
